The original and the best boodle feast can only be found at Blackbeard’s Seafood Island. I have been to their different branches and had a gastronomic experience with their wide selection of Filipino dishes. Last Sunday, December 3, I was invited to the grand opening of their 22nd branch located at Robinsons Magnolia.
After the ceremony, I was able to check out the restaurant and realized that the look is a total departure from their other branches. The ones I’ve been too has that pirate ship look. This branch has that vibrant summer look.
Then I learned that the restaurant is actually revamping their look. After all, they are celebrating their 8th year in the business this 2012. It is indeed a fitting transformation. But one thing that did not change is good food.
We started with Appetizers: Garlic Chicharon Bulaklak and Pinoy Nachos
Boodle Feast - Tali Beach
Boodle Feast - Davao Gulf
Boodle Feast - Panlasang Pinoy

Boodle Feast - I Am Ninoy
Boodle Feast - Mt. Apo
Boodle Feast - Palawan Shores
The moment the foods were served, we can’t help but get excited as we smell the aromatic flavor that calls “Come eat me.” Each dish is perfectly planned to offer the best of the Philippine Islands. The presentation also exudes the beach vibe. We ate with our bare hands and enjoyed every meat, seafood and veggies. It’s so good we were at certain point simply quiet as we focus on the task at hand - to enjoy the Boodle Feast at Blackbeard’s Seafood Island. The restaurant is the first to offer this innovative Filipino casual grill dining experience; that makes them the original. Each Boodle Feast can serve up to 6 people, making it a perfect family and barkada bonding experience as well.
Our meal was capped with desserts - Deep Fried Ice Cream and Buco Pandan
The best Boodle Feast is only at Blackbeard’s Seafood Island. It’s perfect for the family. It’s perfect for friends. I remembered my balikbayan friend who is always looking for Filipino cuisine whenever she’s in the country. She will definitely enjoy this unique dining experience.

I was not satisfied the last time I dined at Seafood Island. I like the Ninoy bundle though.
Which one were you not satisfied with Aldous? Was it the food, the service, etc?
