It’s that time of the year again when all movie theaters will show Filipino films as part of the Metro Manila Film Festival. Don’t forget to watch and have fun with Si Agimat, Si Enteng Kabisote at Si Ako. Starring Sen. Bong Revilla, Vic Sotto and Judy Ann Santos, the movie is one of the entries to this year’s film festival.
Si Agimat, Si Enteng Kabisote at Si Ako had a Bloggers Night early this week at Annabel’s Restaurant in Quezon City. I was fortunate to be invited and had a chance to know more about the movie as one of the lead stars, Vic Sotto was present at the event. This is not the first time I met him as I was also at the conference for his movie last year. It’s always a pleasure meeting Bossing, as he is fondly called. He charmed his way into everybody’s heart as he answered with sincerity all the questions fielded to him. This is the second partnership for actors Vic Sotto and Bong Revilla. They first partnered in the equally successful Metro Manila Film Festival entry Si Agimat at Si Enteng Kabisote in the year 2010. It is then natural to pick up from where they left off with the friendship established, but this time bringing the presence of Judy Ann Santos. Funnyman Vic Sotto shared that this is the biggest movie among the Enteng Kabisote franchise. Although he refused to divulge financial details, Bossing said Si Agimat, Si Enteng Kabisote at Si Ako is an expensive movie. As a way of giving us a glimpse of this fact, he shared that the float alone which they will use during the 2012 MMFF parade already cost Php1 Million.
Everyone was curious about the movie, especially what’s different from the previous installations. As movie-goers, we naturally wanted to know what’s new, what’s fresh and what can Si Agimat, Si Enteng Kabisote at Si Ako offer this time around. One of the lead actor was quick to point out that they touched on mother Earth to make sure that the movie is relevant to what’s happening in the world right now. This part of the story is represented by Judy Ann Santos, as Ako. The name is quite interesting and you’ll only learn more about it if you watch the movie or search for it on the web.
Of course, the movie has the complete elements of a family-oriented film - drama, action, comedy and fantasy. I’m sure the entire family will enjoy watching it. Bossing Vic mentioned that this is actually a “Dabarkads” movie, that’s primarily because the characters in the movie are played by the personalities from the noon-time show Eat Bulaga. That alone spells fun, fun, fun! Watch the trailer and you’ll definitely agree.
I’m sure everyone will enjoy the stellar supporting casts which includes Sam Pinto, Alden Richards, Wally Bayola, Jose Manalo, Gwen Zamora, Aiza Seguerra, John Lapus, child stars Jillian Ward and Ryzza Mae Dizon, Yassi Pressman, Jolo Revilla, Oyo Boy Sotto, Ruby Rodriguez, Amy Perez, Barbie Forteza, and Anton Revilla. Directed by Tony Reyes, the movie is jointly produced by Imus Productions, OctoArts Films, M-Zet TV, APT Entertainment and GMA Films. Watch and have fun with Si Agimat, Si Enteng Kabisote at Si Ako starting December 25.

This movie I understand is for general patronage and kids really love to see this movie. I am sure special visual effects are greatly done by techno experts.

This was actually the 2nd time that bloggers were invited to cover his movie press conference. Looks like he’s enjoying the company of bloggers. Sen. Revilla was busy debating on the RH bill that night, he didn’t make it to the press con

Yet another cool locally-made superhero movie!
I’ve seen one of Revilla’s films (Panday) and I actually thought it was decent, so I may check this movie out

I like how “Bossing” makes his fans laugh till our heart’s content. Though ironically, I’d rather watch most tagalog movies at home than on the big screen so I could share them to my family and relatives.

I’ve seen the trailer and I find Judy Ann funny. Im not really into fantasy movies and I really think we need a fresh script. The jokes gets too old but the kids will like it I guess.

I used to watch Okay Ka Fairy Ko when I was a kid. I enjoyed it a lot.
The Enteng Kabisote Movies [with or without Agimat] do not appeal to me at all. I always try to watch them. But after seeing the first quarter of each film, I switch them off. Enteng Kabisote plus Agimat movies are no longer for me.
I am happy though that the tandem makes the kids happy. That’s a good thing.

I’ve been unable to watch movies in theaters for a long time because of my kids so I may just have to wait for this to be shown on TV or cable.

Bossing Vic was very entertaining and fun to talk. I wished Ms. Judy Ann and Sen. Bong was also able to come sit with everyone and chat.

I’ve followed Enteng’s adventure since Okay Ka Fairy Ko and I would really want to watch another adventure and it’s becoming grander by the year.
