Ensaymadas were introduced to the Philippines by the Spaniards. But unlike the Philippine version, I learned that the original is just plain bread. That’s right, no toppings like cheese, butter, and sugar. We’re definitely a creative bunch as far as making this pastry is concerned.

It was a quite a hot day, it’s a good thing we’re inside the cozy place of The Wander Space Store & Cafe. I wanted to pair Pastry Armoire premium ensaymadas with hot coffee. But the warm weather made me reach out for an Iced Dark Chocolate instead. Still, it’s perfect.

The Wander Space is actually a travel-inspired concept store and a cafe inside. The store sells carefully-curated items sourced locally. There’s quite a lot of interesting items being sold. Some of the items that caught my attention are the backpacks, beach shorts, and cactus. Even my blogger friends were drawn to the swimwear collection being sold at an affordable prize.
We learned that the cafe serves pastries, coffee, and chocolate drinks. It’s a place to while your time away with friends. Pastry Armoire premium ensaymadas are some of the delightful snacks served at The Wander Space Cafe.
