As a matter of fact, I dream of going back for a staycation. I’ve been to Tagaytay several times, but the visit is always filled with activities. I’m looking forward to relaxing and just letting time fly by me. The clusters of villas patterned after the villages of Greece’s most popular seaside island overlooking Taal lake and volcano is just one of the things I look forward to in my next visit Estancia Resort Hotel. Summer at Aquaria Beach Resort

The Entrance at Aquaria Beach Resort

As I was packing up to check out from the hotel I stayed over the weekend when a message popped out on my phone asking me if I’m available the next day to an out-of-town getaway to Batangas. I love the beach and so I immediately agreed to it. The weather is really getting warmer and having missed the pool on my staycation, I’m looking forward to start summer at Aquaria Beach Resort in Calatagan, Batangas. So on a Monday morning, I braved the MRT shuffle to get to our meetup point in Makati. I’m glad I did. Read up to know why. It was raining in the city but I’m not concerned at all. I know I’m going to enjoy the beach, rain or shine. But the sun smiled on us and gave us a good weather. Upon arrival at Aquaria Beach, we were greeted with a cold towel and a bottle ...

Staycation at KL Tower Serviced Residences

I went for an overnight staycation at KL Tower Serviced Residences and had a relaxing moment despite being busy. Nope, I’m not referring to a hotel in Malaysia, I’m referring to the hotel owned by the Kalaws and Ledesmas along Gamboa Street in Legaspi Village, Makati City. With meetings set on a weekend in Makati, I decided to check in so I don’t have to travel back and forth in the area of Makati on Saturday and Sunday. I was out of my room half the time but those moments when I’m inside my spacious hotel room, I am able to chill and set the stressful things away. Who wouldn’t? I had such a nice accommodation at KL Tower. I was fortunate to have been allowed to check in early at 12 noon instead of the usual check-in time of 2pm. The front desk staff handed me my key card, breakfast voucher and WiFi ...

Comfort Food and More at Azalea’s Tradisyon Restaurant

Tradisyon Restaurant - PInoy Comfort Food

You’ll find comfort food and more at Azalea’s Tradisyon Restaurant. This is one reason why I was tempted not to leave the hotel and one thing that I’m missing, now that I’m in Manila. When visiting Baguio, make sure to take a trip and dine at Tradisyon. Better yet, stay at Azalea Residences so you’d never miss out on good food at this restaurant.   Enjoy buffet breakfast when you wake up to a cold morning. It’s the perfect way to start your day in Baguio. Tradisyon Restaurant offers a good mix of Filipino and Continental foods for P350 per head, I had my fill of whatever I fancied. I had fried rice with Baguio longganisa, bacon and danggit along with bread, omelet, soup drowned by hot chocolate drink; and this is just for the first day. On my second day, I had fried rice, hot dog, Baguio longanisa and ...

Azalea Residences is Your Home Away from Home in Baguio

the fountain in front of Azalea Residences Baguio

Spending 3 days and 2 nights while in the City of Pines, I can attest that Azalea Residences is your home away from home in Baguio. It’s one of the best places I’ve been to as far as hotel accommodation is concerned, it almost feel like I don’t want to leave and roam the Summer Capital of the Philippines which was what we really intend to do. As of this writing, back to my own cozy place in the metro, I sure wished I can stay longer at Azalea Residences. We arrived past 2am as our van courtesy of Azalea Residences transported us from the bus terminal to the hotel. I immediately felt welcomed by our driver and the hotel staff manning the lobby. That friendly service was just a teaser as we experienced warm smiles, welcomes and greetings throughout our stay. It’s like having a friendly neighborhood. We entered a ...
