Max’s has partnered with Body Shop to ensure a sweet and special Mother’s Day celebration. From May 7 to 13, celebrate Mother’s Day at Max’s Restaurant and receive a bottle of Body Shop’s Shower Gel with a minimum food bill of Php1,300. What a treat! Aside from enjoying the restaurant’s delicious food like Sinigang, Kare-Kare and Boneless Bangus, just to name a few, mom gets to bring home a special gift. not just any gift — the Body Shop Shower Gel is a luxurious soap-free, lather-rich and fruit-infused bathing product.

Every mom deserves a treat on Mother’s Day — whether she’s a career woman or a hard-working full-time mom, they all work hard to fulfill their role. Some of them take on a dual-role as mom and dad. This partnership between our favorite Filipino restaurant and one of the world’s most socially conscious cosmetic company is a worthy salute to all mothers out there. I guess it’s also the restaurant’s way of thanking their customers as Max’s Marketing Director Mr. Edgar Allan Caper shared that the restaurant has always been a part of these celebrations.

Indeed, Max’s has always been a familiar fixture in the metro and has grown to what it is now, with branches in the provinces and abroad. As a kid, I always looked forward to going to “the house that fried chicken built” in anticipation of enjoying that juicy fried chicken which has remained the same in flavor until today. At that time, I don’t care about the rest of the food; I just want my fried chicken, the leg part, both of them. Haha! That was nostalgic.

I still do look forward to dining at Max’s Restaurant, but not just for the chicken. I love Sinigang na Ulo at Tiyan ng Salmon and Sinigang na Hipon; they’re my favorite! I will definitely order them again when I drop by to celebrate Mother’s Day. I’m excited! And that Body Shop Shower Gel is like an icing on the cake. Sweet!
