Blackbeard’s Seafood Island Opens at Harbor Point Mall in Subic

Seafood Bonding Extreme with Boodle Feast

One Saturday morning, on December 22nd to be exact, I went to Subic with some bloggers. It was my second time this year, the first was in rainy August. We were invited as Blackbeard’s Seafood Island opens at Harbor Point Mall. This is also my 2nd time to be at the Harbor Point Mall and I love the airy feel of this mall owned and operated by Ayala Mall. Ideal for a laidback lifestyle in the province. The restaurant is big, and is set up for huge crowds. It’s perfect for bonding with family and friends who will definitely enjoy the Boodle Feast offered by Blackbeard’s Seafood island. After the formal blessing, everyone got settled in their own spot. The place is brimming with people and so I decided to just sit after taking some pictures. We did have our own feast as various Boodle dishes were laid down in ...

An Adventure at the Zoobic Safari

A Tiger at Zoobic Safari's Savannah

One rainy day of August I roamed Subic with other bloggers and we had an awesome adventure at Zoobic Safari. The last time I visited a zoo was when I was still a kid. That was a loooong time ago.HAHA! We were supposed to go to a beach but because it was really pouring hard, we found ourselves at this zoo. ¬†Prior to entering the areas where the animals are, we were first given an orientation by our tour guide. It was raining so we only have a few attractions to experience that day — the Serpentarium, Tiger Safari and Croco Loco. We were also treated to dances by the Aetas. Then we proceeded to a cave where snakes and other reptiles are housed — the Serpentarium. It was dark inside and the only source of light are those that lit the animal’s habitat. It was kinda warm too although ...

Subic Got Clawed! ClawDaddy Opens at Harbor Point Mall

ClawDaddy Harbor Point Grand Opening

When the Philippine government converted the former US military base it into a freeport zone, Subic has been a traveler’s destination. With roughly 2-3 hours travel time from Manila, one can enjoy the many attractions it offers. On a rainy Saturday early this August, I found myself in this place once again. I was here several times already. I remember living in one of those basecamp where the American soldiers used to live. I experienced climbing up a 40 feet post in the Subic Extreme Adventure. Then I remembered having awesome dining experiences in restaurants I no longer remember the name. This time I found myself at the Harbor Point Mall, just in time for ClawDaddy‘s Grand Opening. I shared my first ClawDaddy experience before and it was really good. Here’s a chance to experience it again, I said to myself. It was mid-morning and so we decided to have ...
