To celebrate National Wellness Month this July, Robinsons Supermarket Wellness Festival was rolled out once again. This is the third leg of the supermarket’s Route to Wellness journey this year, after the successful Explore Wellness and Learn Wellness campaigns. The Wellness Festival is actually an annual event as part of Robinsons Supermarket’s commitment to encourage wellness to the Filipino community.
The kick-off of the festival was held from June 23 to 25 at the Eastwood Central Plaza Citywalk. Guests were able to try different activities such as skip rope at the Pedestrian Rush, Bicycle Tour and also the obstacle course set up by the Ninja Academy. There was also a group exercise.
Of course, admission to the Robinsons Supermarket Wellness Festival is free and guests were able to join other non-physical activities scattered around the the area. Robinsons Supermarket’s wellness partners were present, delivering these fun activities such as Nestle, Johnson & Johnson, Wyeth Nutrition, Procter & Gamble, Foodsphere, etc.
The festival at Eastwood City was hosted by Robi Domingo. Celebrity fitness coaches Jim and Toni Saret led guests and shoppers in a series of four-minute workouts, or Metabeats, in an effort to show that it only takes a few minutes to get started on one’s wellness journey. The event also presented an opportunity for Robinsons Supermarket to pledge pounds to the Fit Filipino 1 Million Pounds National Weight Loss Challenge. As one of the official partners of the movements, Robinsons Supermarket identified select branches as the challenge’s weigh-in centers every Saturday.
Robinsons Supermarket will also hold its annual and much-anticipated 10th Fit & Fun Buddy Run on July 2 at Camp Aguinaldo. Customers will also get a chance to experience some of the activities as a special wellness caravan will also be held in Robinsons Supermarket Tagaytay from July 14 to 16, and at Robinsons Supermarket Antipolo City from July 28 to 30.
Besides these activities, shoppers can get a Healthy You Snack Platter for a minimum single-receipt purchase of PHP3,000 inclusive of P500 worth of participating products from Nestle, Johnson & Johnson, Unilab, Fonterra, Wyeth Nutrition, Unilever, Procter & Gamble, IPI, Abbott Nutrition, Getz Bros., Ecossential, Foodsphere, and Philusa. Customers will also get an extra 15 Robinsons Rewards Card points for every P500 purchase of Healthy You products. Promo runs from July 1 to 31, 2017.
Healthy You is Robinsons Supermarket’s exclusive healthy brand of nuts, juices, oats, brown rice, coffee and many more that have been evaluated as healthy by the Department of Science and Technology-Food and Nutrition Research Institute.
