Now that Metro Manila is easing out on its quarantine restrictions, I found myself going out again. Recently, I revisited Paradise Dynasty at The Podium. I was at the restaurant twice in 2018, first was when I discovered this paradise of a dining experience. The second time was when they introduced new dishes.
I was excited to be back after 3 years. I learned that the Chinese restaurant reopened when the government gave a go-signal for restaurant to operate. Still, they adhere to the health requirements such as staff wearing face masks and faceshield. They also accept customers at a certain capacity.
That was enough to allay fears of a crowded place. When I got there, the place is not that full when compared to my previous visit. But I actually enjoyed it because the place became more intimate.
But of course, revisiting Paradise Dynasty at the Podium is all about food. And that’s exactly what we got – from our favorite Xiao Long Bao to the hot and spicy Szechuan dishes – served to me and my companion’s delight.
Dimsums and Appetizers
With so many food served, we were so full that we can no longer take even a small serving of dessert.
I’m glad I revisited Paradise Dynasty at The Podium. I’ve been checking out places to hold our small gathering this Yuletide Season and now it’s on top of my list should we decide to continue with the gathering.
