Dining at Papa Kim's Korean Bakery

Papa Kim's Korean Bakery along Tomas MoratoI visited Papa Kim’s Korean Bakery along Tomas Morato, Quezon City on the first week of April where the blogcon for LA Santos was held. But before the event started, I ate some of their food offerings. I didn’t really know what to expect because it was my first time to eat at a Korean cafe. Looking at the menu, most were Korean-inspired.

Established in 2016, the Korean-inspired cafe already has two branches. Aside from the one in Quezon City, they also have one in Antipolo. We were told that they’re set to open new ones soon. Asked how the food offerings are developed, we were told that they have a Korean baker who come up with the menu items.

LA Santos Isang Linggong Pag-ibig Blogcon at Papa Kim's Korean BakeryThe cafe has good selection of food and beverages. They have pastas, rice meals, breads, desserts, coffee and non-coffee drinks. While waiting for the other bloggers to arrive and the event hosts are still busy setting up, I was served Bulgogi Bun and Hot White Chocolate Mocha.

When people started pouring in, so did the food from Papa Kim’s Korean Bakery. They served some recommendations, best-sellers, and the ones we personally ordered.

Red Bean Bingsu (Regular Php150 | Large 200). Promise, there’s red beans in there 🙂

Although Papa Kim’s Korean Bakery in Tomas Morato is quite small, I like it because it’s more intimate. I don’t like it when restaurants or cafe gets crowded because it gets noisy. I also like the overall ambiance of the cafe; it’s instagram-ready.

Decors Personally, I don’t have any preference on the kind of food, as long as it’s delicious, I’m for it. Do drop by Papa Kim’s Korean Bakery and enjoy their Korean-inspired foodie offerings. My recommendations are Mushroom Pasta, Choco Banana Bingsu, Earl Grey Milk Tea, Bulgogi Bun (make sure you heat it), and White Chocolate Mocha (a tad too sweet though).

Cakes and PastriesOf course, feel free to try the other food. I plan to have go back and try their rice meals, more coffee, and those cakes I saw on the display counter. I forgot to buy some of the breads; I’ll definitely bring a pack or two for take away.Breads at Papa Kims Korean Bakery
