PGA Cars – The World of Super Cars

At the Lamborghini Section of PGA Cars - The World of Super Cars

I’m not a car fanatic and so I don’t usually keep myself updated with what’s out there. But I drool whenever I see a true beauty of design and engineering. And I can’t help myself whenever I pass by EDSA and see the cars on display on PGA Cars. Can you imagine how I felt when I went to the The World of Super Cars Motor Show? Shucks, I catch myself daydreaming while I stare at the beauty of all the Audi, Porsche, Lamborghini and Bentley cars on display. The reality is that I will never be able to afford these super cars. I’m sure even the lowest-priced among these brands will buy me a house & lot, a decent sedan or SUV, and still have money at the bank. But if God allows it, I shall have mine, haha! The Super Cars motor show is a chance to check out what’s out there. ...

I Give GrabCar by GrabTaxi 4 Points

A Hyundai Sonata is my ride to the GrabCar Media Launch

I give GrabCar by GrabTaxi 4 points on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the highest rating. GrabCar is an alternative to getting a cab ride, only better. And this is only after a year of providing safe and convenient taxi ride in the metro. I have been enjoying GrabTaxi’s service from the time I learned about it til today. But GrabCar is bringing the commute to a new level and I’m loving it already after my initial experience. Here’s why. Ride a Private Car Yep, instead of riding a taxi, you get to ride a car with no markings to indicate that you’re ride is actually a public transport of some sort. How awesome is that? During the launch held at the Bonifacio High Street in Taguig, I was picked up by a Hyundai Sonata from my place in Quezon City to the venue. The moment ...

Cars Parked on the Street or Sidewalk are Nuisance

Street Parking

There, I finally said, and I’ll say it again. Cars parked on the street or sidewalk are nuisance. I have been wanting to say this but sort brushed it off. But recently, I find it so inconvenient that I have to be very careful as I walk the street just because there are cars parked along the road. They do make the streets narrow, hence, making it difficult and unsafe for pedestrians to walk freely. That’s aside from the traffic that these parked cars could cause during rush hour. Take this photo I came across in Manila. Clearly, this is a main road but the vehicles parked are taking a big chunk of the road, almost half of it. We obviously don’t have a very solid urban planning. Heck, I would say there’s no urban planning at all. Hence we don’t have a good road system. Most of streets are ...

Quite simply, go CarCrazee if you’re nuts about cars. Well, who wouldn’t want to go wild and crazy when you see all the cars customized to fit the owner’s lifestyle. BPI Family Auto Loan Offers Free 1-Year Comprehensive Insurance with Acts of Nature Coverage

BPI Car Loan Promo Extended

Are you planning to buy a car? BPI Family Auto Loan is calling on car buyers to take advantage of the FREE 1-year comprehensive insurance with Acts of Nature Coverage before it ends on December 21, 2012. In response to the clamor from BPI clients who have earlier planned to purchase their cars this year, the promo was extended several times to cover most of 2012. It was actually initially offered from February 1 to June 1 this year. As the initial cash payment for buying a car (Down payment + LTO registration + chattel mortgage + comprehensive insurance) is drastically reduced with the free comprehensive insurance, car ownership was made easier for BPI clients. The cost of a comprehensive insurance usually amounts to three percent of the market value of the car which means a savings of about Php30,000.00 for a car worth Php1,000,000.00. That’s huge savings! Customers also ...

Suzuki Philippines Launches Compact Car Alto K10

Suzuki Philippines Launches Compact Car Alto K10

Back in 2008, I was very much interested in buying a car. I started saving and researching for the best car to purchase. I explored my options — sedan, SUV, compact, brand new or pre-owned cars. I also asked around and for most of my friends who own a car already, they were recommending compact cars. The reason — fuel consumption. I had interesting discussions and I took notes. Certain turn of events in 2009 prompted me to throw the plan to the back burner. Then I saw Suzuki Alto K10. I was at the Blue Leaf Events Pavilion last October 27th where Suzuki Philippines introduced the newest version of its most popular and fast-selling compact car — the Suzuki Alto K10. The executives of the Japanese car and motorcycle manufacturer were there, headed by Mr. Satoshi Uchida, Suzuki Philippines, Inc. President, who came to the country in 2008. In ...
