A few weeks ago, we enjoyed good food, drinks and music while we hangout with the Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2, Lenovo Hangout Ambassadors MJ Lastimosa and Markki Stroem. Mobile device leader Lenovo recently launched its Hangout campaign. During the event, I learned that Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 lets you hangout in different ways. Everywhere I go, I see people hanging out. And when I learned about Lenovo’s tablet, I have to admit that it adds that extra cool and fun factor when hanging out with family and friends.
When I saw the Yoga Tablet 2 during the event, I can’t help but be awed at this device. For one thing, the one prominently on display at the Vyne, the venue for the launch, is huge with its 13.3″ screen; it’s actually the Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 Pro. I really love the big screen; it’s captivating with the brilliant colors. I can’t stop looking at my website through the tablet. The IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display with 2560×1440 pixel display really delivers.
The Intel-powered tablet runs on Android 4.4 OS and has a high-definition 8MP rear camera with f2.2 wide-aperture lens, advanced glare-reducing glass, and a BSI 2 sensor. I was surprised to see a macro option when taking photos. Too bad the wifi signal was weak during the event I was not able to send the photo to my inbox nor tweet about it. 🙁
What makes the Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 truly unique is the 4 ways of using it. You can have it in the Hold mode just like any other tablet while showing photos and videos to family and friends. But as a tablet user myself, holding it with your hands can be tiring, especially for long periods of time. With Lenovo’s tablet, you can have it on Stand mode with its built-in kickstand. I love how solid the kickstand that the tablet didn’t wobble when we had it on that mode.
The Tilt mode is perfect for work and play. Brand ambassador Markki Storem pointed out it’s perfect for playing with apps. I have to agree, imagining it as the perfect mode for blogging and doing the usual social media posts. Markki shares further, I thrive on social media and I enjoy keeping everyone posted about my life, so the Yoga Tablet 2’s mobility and portability features are perfect for me.”
I guess the ultimate hangout mode using the Yoga Tablet 2 is the Hang mode. Yep, you can hang the tablet like a picture frame and have a movie marathon. Beauty queen MJ Lastimosa also shared, “My friends and I cook sometimes, so I can make use of the Hang mode to view recipes when we have our cookout sessions.”
Markki and MJ will be visiting select Metro Manila-based Lenovo Exclusive stores. Lenovo will also have a promotional contests where consumers get the chance to take an Ilocos Heritage Tour with the brand ambassadors. It would be such an adventure to travel and hangout with the Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2, brand ambassadors MJ Lastimosa and Markki Stroem.
