Making memories with #EmojiMagic
Aside from releasing their limited edition Emoji doughnuts, Krispy Kreme also had BGC’s first ever Emoji Park where patrons could partake in exciting interactive Emoji activities that included Personalized Emoji T-shirts, Emoji Face Painting, Emoji Ball Pit, Make-your-own Emoji Doughnut, and a Catch the Emoji game!
Event host and radio personality Riki Flo led the program and got the audience hyped up for the day’s events. To share the mission and vision behind the campaign, Max’s Group, Inc. Chairperson and Krispy Kreme Philippine’s CEO Sharon T. Fuentebella explained that the three main ideas behind Krispy Kreme’s #EmojiMagic campaign are communication, customization, and sharing. Knowing that personalized creations make for a more meaningful experience.
The Emoji Doughnuts can be decorated with numerous Emojis to allow anybody to send a sweet message using as many or as few Emojis as they want. She also announced that this year-long campaign would commemorate several highlights, holidays, and special occasions throughout the year!
To explain the relevance of Emojis, especially to millennials, was Ariane Martinez-Valinton, Marketing Manager for Krispy Kreme Philippines. “Emojis are a great way to really express yourself and send a sweet message without saying a word!”
Carlo Fajardo, Krispy Kreme’s Asia Pacific Marketing Director excitedly announced that the Emoji Magic campaign—which is a Philippine initiative—is a first in the world, and is already generating enough buzz that other Asian countries are looking to spread their own Emoji Magic.

Joining in on the Emoji Park fun were celebrities Helga Krapf, Katarina Rodriguez, and Kaila Estrada. Another exclusive happening only at the Emoji Park was a screening of award-winning director Pepe Diokno’s special #EmojiMagic short film featuring none other than Krispy Kreme doughnuts and Emojis!
From morning until evening, guests happily participated in the games and munched on personalized Emoji doughnuts while also decorating their own doughnuts to give away.
