Among the top 10 finalist, the HRM students of NCBA Fairview wins C2 Sarap ng Christmas Tree-Making Contest. After a few weeks of preparation, the awarding was finally held last December 28 at the Market! Market! Activity Center in Taguig. The event was well-attended with the presence of Universal Robina Corporation executives and the students who participated in the competition.
It was an exciting moment for those who made it to the finals. With over Php200,000 worth of prizes up for grabs, schools over Metro Manila were invited to a challenge of building their very own Christmas Tree using C2 bottles in less than a month. Ten Christmas trees were eventually chosen as finalist for the top 3 winning entries. Based on adherence to the C2 Sarap ng Christmas theme (40%), creative execution (30%) and technical execution (30%), the entry by NCBA Fairview was adjudged the Grand Winner with Php75,000 going to the school’s Hotel and Restaurant Management Society and P30,000 awarded as an endowment to the school.
The University Student Choir of the Philippine Women’s University bagged the 1st Runner up, receiving Php50,000 cash prize and an endowment of Php25,000 to the university. Meanwhile, Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila wins 2nd runner up with Php25,000 cash prize for the Supreme Student Council and Php15,000 given to PLM as an endowment. All 10 finalists did not go home empty handed as they also receive Christmas gift packs.

C2 continues to reach out to the Filipino youth and promote cool, clean and fresh vibe. Since launching in 2004, C2 has been part of the Filipino consumers’ life. I remember me and my colleagues grabbing a bottle everyday when I was still working in the call center. From my favorite Apple flavor, the refreshing beverage now has a lot of variant, including a new favorite, the Raspberry flavor.
The first-ever C2 Sarap ng Christmas Tree-Making Contest is a cool way to instill creativity from today’s youth with their fresh perspective in life. This is also a good way to channel clean living by enjoying the healthy drink instead of alcoholic beverages. Congratulations to C2 and the winners who, I’m sure is in a really celebratory mood and will continue to say Sarap ng Christmas when they are reminded of the sweet victory.
