The Bonifacio High Street Summer on the Street kicks off with Summer Food Fest with Bite Me Manila held on March 25 to 26. Foodies like me had a blast because of the variety of food vendors that lined up the area. The food fest along 9th Avenue is the perfect spot for shoppers looking for food finds while enjoying the outdoorsy atmosphere.
Summer on the Street is a yearly campaign by Bonifacio High Street, encouraging BGCitizens and visitors to go out, enjoy and live their passions while discovering new ones. After all, it’s truly more fun having outdoor activities, especially with the company of family and friends.
The Summer Food Fest with Bite Me Manila is of course the perfect way to kick off an event. I discovered Noonchi, Wagyu Meets and Sushi Nori and grabbed some food. How I wish I could have grabbed more food, particularly from the food trucks.
The food fest also featured non-food vendors such as Casa Mercedes offering beaded accessories, native baskets and works of art by KC Nevada. There’s also a bracelet DIY booth, scents, clothes and a vendor selling vinyl records. I also chanced upon a booth selling plants.
If the Bonifacio High Street Summer on the Street’s first event is the standard, it means you’re set to discover cool things until May 2017. It’ll be an eventful summer that everyone should check out.
