The last day of the June was a busy day for me as far as blogging events are concerned. After attending the press conference of the Elements 2011 Singing and Songwriting Camp at The Fort, I hurried down the road to Shangri-la Plaza to watch the special screening of Transformers 3. I did not only enjoyed the movie, but I also enjoyed witnessing the transformation in the way the event was handled by NuffnangPH and PLDT myDSL.
This was the 2nd time I had the chance to join a Nuffnang blogger event. The first time was last year when I also received an invite for a special screening. That was for the movie
The Social Network at the Greenbelt Cinema, also sponsored by PLDT myDSL. I remember that was my first-ever bloggers event and so I didn’t know what to expect. It was quite a straightforward event.

Before the screening, the host facilitated a game which awarded loot bags to winners. Then the highlight, aside from the movie of course, was the announcement of the winning blogger who won an Internet subscription. After the short program, everyone settled down to watch the movie, which was a good one.
This time around, a similar thing happened, although I would say it was facilitated better. Instead of running down to the front of the theater to answer the question, everyone was just asked to shout out the answer to the trivia questions. The first one to answer gets the prize. I was even lucky to get 2 PLDT notebooks. Hurray!
The short program was in itself a transformation. But before the program started, while waiting to enter the movie house, everyone was treated to snacks. You’d think there’s a cocktail party going on because the entire lobby was abuzz. There are high round tables where people started to group together. This is after all, a bloggers event where the possibility of knowing somebody else from other blogging network is 100% possible.

There was also a photo booth where you can have your pictures taken and get the collage of pictures right there and then. Replicas of the Transformer robots roaming around for added effect was a good touch. Apparently, they are all around the metro busy attending premieres and special screenings. That must have been an effort coming from the film outfit in charge of releasing the movie in the country.
Of course, the best moment was the screening itself where we were treated with a visual spectacle of the movie. I love the storyline too, but I’m not going to spill it out here. Go check other sites for that. Suffice it to say that the last installment of this robotic movie is highly recommended for viewing, although in my opinion, the previous installment was better as far as the script is concerned.

NuffnangPH and PLDT myDSL has transformed, and it’s an awesome one. From now on, I expect the same level of experience from their partnership. The month ended on a high note, and I thank Asia’s only blog advertising community and the Philippine’s telecom giant for making it happen. Til the next event, Kudos!
