I love homes that are well put together, especially the ones with modern furniture and home accessories. Whenever I shop around or browse through the pages of the magazines or websites, I drool over living rooms, dining areas, bedrooms and even bathrooms with lovely furniture pieces. I am so fed up with the old look at my place where most of the furnishings were chosen by my mom at the time when we still live together. Now that I live alone, I feel out of place. I want my dream home.
My love for modern living spaces was rekindled when I learned that SM North Edsa‘s Interior Zone is having a sale until August 12 with up to 50% discount on selected items. This is participated by Our Home, La-z Boy, Dimensione, among others. The thought led me to surf the net where I saw lots of design ideas for my dream home.
I love this all white look with black accents in the living room. It’s cool, bright and clean. It has an airy and relaxing vibe that will make me just want to stay and lounge around night and day.
I love that each piece compliments the entire look. But to give it more warmth and a personal touch, I’d like to have my own art in place of those paintings hanging on the wall. I always dreamed of having my paintings displayed throughout my house instead of somebody else’s. Nice…
And speaking of installing my own artwork, this design idea would be perfect for my bedroom.
This look will do well as the extension of my bedroom and will serve as my entertainment, work and reading room.
Obviously, I can’t have them now as I’m only renting my place. I can wish I have my own place now, so I can build my dream home. But having just a glimpse of the future isn’t so bad. I think I can have some modern accents to liven up my otherwise boring home. This Interior Zone sale at SM City North Edsa is a very timely opportunity to make it happen.
