I never thought ice skating will ever happen in a tropical country like the Philippines until SM Ice Skating came along. The country’s only ice skating destination has been a fun way to bond for families and friends. It has also been molding competent ice skaters to compete internationally. Last month, it celebrated its 20th year and I had the chance to attend the celebration.
It was awesome to watch ice skaters perform their dance routines at the SM Mall of Asia Ice Skating Rink. It’s surely an ice-terrific presentation, a proof of the SM Ice Skating‘s resounding success in the Philippines. The Ice Skating students and coaches from 1992 up until 2012 performed and amazed spectators as they glided inside the rink with their best routines as well as signify the excellence of SM Ice Skating through the years. The astounding celebration is also sponsored by Nissan, Uncle Cheffy, Pizza Hut, Coca Cola, Mogu-Mogu, Union, Ace Water Spa, Blink Photobooth, Wine Depot, Banana Peel, Converse and Manila Catering.
