I have a thick wallet. Not because I have plenty of money in it, but because I have a lot of things stuffed in it. My credit Card, ATM, IDs, calling cards and loyalty cards are all there. I do revisit these items from time to time, like doing an audit, checking out which ones I can store somewhere else or simply toss in my desk drawer. A thick wallet is not a comfortable thing when you’re sitting on it at the back pocket of your pants. I also learned that it darkens the skin of your derriere. So that made me check my wallet more often, so much so that at one point, I decided to leave almost all of my cards only to realize it’s not such a wise decision because I ended up missing some deals or treats from my favorite stores. So I had to juggle between thinking over my itinerary for the day and which card to bring. I thought it’ll be like that forever until I learned about Perxclub. Soon, I won’t be missing out on treats, perks and surprises! Especially because I don’t ever leave my mobile phone behind.

Yep, Perxclub is a mobile app for iOS, and soon, the Android. Treat it as your mobile wallet where you have your loyalty cards, privilege cards and rewards cards. This is awesome because I don’t have to worry about leaving any of these cards behind. Wherever I go, I can have my transactions recorded or take advantage of any offers that restaurants, coffee shops or boutiques that I go to. Very convenient, don’t you think? I think so, too.
At the mobile app launch where I was invited, I experienced the treats of being a Perxclub member as several partner merchants were present at the Decagon Silver City. I roamed around the venue to get my goodies.
Perxclub already has a growing number of merchants. Not just any merchants, but interesting ones. Some, like The Optical Shop, Flawless and Chatime, where I’m already a customer. Then there’s Bubba Gump, Grilla, Nautica and the likes that I plan to visit one of these days. And there are more shops signing up. I don’t have to worry even if there are new merchants added because I instantly become a member and can immediately take advantage of the offers once I make a purchase. The good thing about this is that I don’t have to fill out all application forms to be a part of all these stores’ loyalty program. I only have to link my Facebook account, follow the prompts on my mobile phone and everything’s taken care of.

But the mobile app is not just about loyalty and rewards. Social Networking is also integrated into the system, letting you add friends that are also using Perxclub. And every purchase or visit to a store is tracked, letting you see your status against your friends and other customers via the leadership board. But it’s not just about who belongs to the top, but also who gets rewarded. This is actually better than other social networking apps that lets you check in to places, and that’s just that.

And if you really want to keep getting points, rewards and treats from where you are, simply access the map feature and you’ll find the partner establishment nearest your location.

How are transactions recorded, you may ask? Simply access the digital loyalty card of a particular merchant, enter the transaction amount, scan the QR code provided by the merchant, key-in your passcode and you’ll immediately get confirmation from your phone.
This frees up the shopper from having to fumble through the wallet to get the card, swiping and then putting it back on the wallet. I also don’t have to worry about demagnetizing the black strip card at the back of the card. And since this is password protected, all earned rewards and recorded transactions are safe from anybody even if the phone is lost. This level of security is not present on other loyalty and rewards program. A member simply downloads the Perxclub app, login and voila! Everything is back to normal!
I can’t wait for Perxclub to be available on Android as I don’t have an iPhone or iPad. If you do, I suggest you download and sign up now so you can get started enjoying the treats, perks and surprises from its partner merchants.

Membership and all other cards should be put together in one for faster and easier use.

This is really convenient as membership cards can really be bulky. Great idea to integrate all this in a single mobile app.
